Ribbonworks Design Studio designed "Northern Lights Arctic Celebration" in 2016. Inspired by Alaskan artist, Jacqui Ertischek from her artwork, this version of the print has been woven in primary colors with a beautiful Aurora Borealis hand painted across a midnight blue sky.
This is an original design by Ribbonworks Design Studio and is protected under US Copyright law. You may use the trim in whatever way you want (including commercial use) but you may not transfer the image to another medium. Photos reflect a watermark image across the trim-this is not part of the trim itself.
This jacquard features a snowy background with 2 Fan Dancers and 2 Drummers in colorful parkys (pronounced Par-kee). The silver streaks across the night sky representing the Aurora Borealis is hand painted.

Jacquard Ribbon Trim - named for the man who invented the loom which this
trim is woven on - Joseph Marie Jacquard (France 1732-1854).
Jacquard trims nowadays are woven using many different materials including
rayon, polyester, metallic, cotton, blends and on rare occasion silk.
Unless otherwise noted these trims are all cold water machine wash/dry and are colorfast.
Please use your own judgment.

Can you make me a special ribbon?
Minimum orders for jacquard ribbon from my factory start at 1000yds. I can certainly assist with this process but this is only for serious inquires. NO ONE will make you a personal jacquard ribbon for just a few yards but there are several companies on Etsy that offer making ribbons in less quantities. Contact me with any questions.
Do you have faster shipping services?
I offer shipping upgrade options. You can make your selection from your cart. Upgrades include a handling fee for my time and are NOT REFUNDABLE if you choose to return an item.
My order is showing "Pre-Transit" - what does that mean?
The postal service is dealing with issues regarding personnel shortages and high volumes of mail.
Until the packages are collected and scanned, "Pre-transit" means your package is somewhere waiting to move. Patience over delivery times is crucial - I believe everyone is doing their very best.
How fast do you ship out orders?
Most ship within 1-2 days but I try to ship ASAP which means sometimes they go out the same day. I leave myself an extra day as life can get in the way of living and many orders take time.
Who pays return shipping if I change my mind?
Despite Etsy's policy that the buyer pays return shipping (this is a policy I am unable to change in my shop)
I PAY ALL RETURN SHIPPING FEES IN THE USA.
The reason for the return is not important - if you don't love it then I want it back. Someone else can use it! Request a return and a pre-paid label will be issued. It's a simple, fast & easy process for the buyer. NOTE: Shipping upgrades are not refundable.
