Ribbonworks Design Studio began in Anchorage, Alaska in 1993. I've been collecting trims & creating with them ever since. It continues to be a true love affair but the reality is it's more of an addiction. Located in Spokane, Washington now I continue to design as well as search to find interesting/unique ribbons for my buyers.
If it can be made using a ribbon then I believe I've made it. Dog collars, bookmarks, belts, guitar straps, suspenders, purse straps, barrette holders, home decorating, curtains, bedding, baby items, pet products, horse halters, doll clothing/accessories, renaissance & medieval costumes, chess boards, quilts, wall hangings, jewelry, ornaments, apparel wear, jackets and coats (did I leave anything out?)
I love working with this type of embellishment. It has such a rich history and endless possibilities. Anything you "jazz up" or embellish with a ribbon looks more beautiful and makes it uniquely your own creation - and isn't that the point?
If you're looking for a specific ribbon design please send me a note and I will endeavor to help. With over 5000 ribbons available for sale I'm pleased & proud that I've be able to help people finish/repair an item because I had the trim. If I don't have it there's a really good chance I can recommend the shop who might have it.
In addition to selling ribbons I also design my own jacquards. You will find my designs in the category of "Ribbonworks Design Trim". Most of my designs reflect my 26 years of living in Alaska but they are universal as these animals live all around the world.
I use only the highest quality materials in my handmade products and from the start I have always guaranteed my handmade products.
I am constantly evolving and making new items. As in all works of art - I, too, am a "work in progress". I continue to handcraft many different types of gift items so please check my shop frequently to see what's new!
