From Germany, Kafka Band Weaving Mills have made jacquard ribbons for antique wood looms for over 100 years. Only several meters are made per hour with this process.
They are simply beautiful ribbons and perfect for making your product very special.
Ribbons are 85% cotton/10% polyester/5% viscose.
SPECIAL CARE INSTRUCTIONS per manufacturer (included with purchases and translated for international orders)
Before working with ribbon iron the ribbon using lots of steam - the ribbons will no longer shrink and can be used/washed successfully.

Can you make me a special ribbon?
Minimum orders for jacquard ribbon from my factory start at 1000yds. I can certainly assist with this process but this is only for serious inquires. NO ONE will make you a personal jacquard ribbon for just a few yards but there are several companies on Etsy that offer to make ribbons in lesser quantities. Contact me with any questions.
Do you have faster shipping services?
I offer shipping upgrade options. You can make your selection from your cart. Upgrades include a handling fee for my time and are NOT REFUNDABLE if you choose to return an item.
My order is showing "Pre-Transit" - what does that mean?
The postal service is dealing with issues regarding personnel shortages and high volumes of mail.
Until the packages are collected and scanned, "Pre-transit" means your package is somewhere waiting to move. Patience over delivery times is crucial - I believe everyone is doing their very best.
How fast do you ship out orders?
Most ship within 1-3 days but I try to ship ASAP which means sometimes they go out the same day. I leave myself an extra day as life can get in the way of living and many orders take time.
Who pays return shipping if I change my mind?
Despite Etsy's policy that the buyer pays return shipping
I PAY RETURN SHIPPING FEES IN THE USA. Depending upon how much of the order you return I will "pro-rate" the return shipping. If you return the entire order I pay all costs. If you return part of the order then we will share in the expense. Contact me if you want to know more.
The reason for the return is not important - if you don't love it then I want it back. Someone else can use it! Request a return and a pre-paid label will be issued. It's a simple, fast & easy process for the buyer.
NOTE: Shipping upgrades are not refundable.

Beautiful ribbon, looks just like the photos. Love the thoughtful inclusion of instructions for ironing with hot steam before/if it gets washed to prevent shrinkage after the fact. Can’t wait to incorporate this into my clothes, and I’ll definitely be back for more in the future!

I ordered periwinkle with turquoise flowers and sparkles of silver in the center of the turquoise flowers. Instead I received 18inches of the above and one yard of very dull gray back round with periwinkle flowers. Would return it but would cost more to return it than to keep it All in all I needed 3 yards of the periwinkle with silver threads through. Sorry if I didn't make myself clear on the order or it was not understood at your end.
